A. Obviously the first thing the employees are going to want to do is to quit and find a job doing something else. You will need to entice them into sticking around. Loyalty can be played to a certain extent. Remind them that the company hired them and took care of them when times were good and they should now reciprocate for a short time. When that fails, you can try to extend some enticement that would be available at a certain point; e.g., when the situation improves, the company will remember who helped out and those folks will be receiving promotions and additional pay. What's lacking is the company's oblivion to the situation. Why didn't they line up additional suppliers? What happened to their safety stock?

A. He's second only to a pig farmer in trying to push pork. If you haven't read the 'stimulus' plan, please at least attempt to read it. Blind chimpanzees on crack could have come up with a better plan.

How much global warming catastrophe can America take before erupting into Civil War?
Q. As you can see I'm not a global warming (end of the earth) denier. I simply wish our course of actions could be carried out more swiftly than anticipated in order that there might be more life left for innnocent creatures. And in order that the truely guilty receive fair compensation for their acts of pollution.

A. What planet are you from? How could you conceive the idea that Global Warming (which has been proven to be in existence since the beginning of Earth) could ever cause a civil war? Then when you are right you can start your civil war.
