Q. suppose you are a manager in an organization in leather industry . suddenly due to some natural catastrophe, the supply of animal skin has been stopped and your business is being affected badly. now you decide to decrease the remuneration of your employees . but you need to convince them to remain loyal to your organization. 1. which manager skill do you require to persuade these employees ? 2. which managerial role would you play to control this situation ? 3. in your opinion which management function is missing due to which this situation occurred ? please give me logical resons to support your answer .

A. Obviously the first thing the employees are going to want to do is to quit and find a job doing something else. You will need to entice them into sticking around. Loyalty can be played to a certain extent. Remind them that the company hired them and took care of them when times were good and they should now reciprocate for a short time. When that fails, you can try to extend some enticement that would be available at a certain point; e.g., when the situation improves, the company will remember who helped out and those folks will be receiving promotions and additional pay. What's lacking is the company's oblivion to the situation. Why didn't they line up additional suppliers? What happened to their safety stock?

How much global warming catastrophe can America take before erupting into Civil War?
Q. As you can see I'm not a global warming (end of the earth) denier. I simply wish our course of actions could be carried out more swiftly than anticipated in order that there might be more life left for innnocent creatures. And in order that the truely guilty receive fair compensation for their acts of pollution.
